A total of 28 participants attended the 8th CINS Meeting in Marseille on Tuesday 13 June, hosted by CMA CGM.
During the morning session, CINS Chairman Uffe Ernst-Frederiksen reviewed progress on CINS Activities and Projects. He updated members on the work being undertaken to prepare CINS Guidelines on the carriage of a number of different cargoes in containers.
There was also a presentation on the Analytics for the past year for Incident Reporting, prepared for CINS by the TT Club.
There was also an update on the work being undertaken by the Technical Secretary, including the Monthly Incident Report, the provision of support to Members and the assistance being given to members who are not currently reporting
The new Guidelines for Reporting Criteria, recently prepared and agreed by the Board, were also presented. These will be circulated to Members in the near future. A Memorandum of Understanding has also been prepared, committing Members to report data into the System.
